Curbside Product Pickup

The video below shows you how your clients can reserve product(s) for Curbside Pickup:



Curbside Product Pickup Overview

 

1. Make sure you create a service called Product Pickup (or name of your choosing). We suggest creating a service that is named something nowhere close to the services you actually perform. Learn how to add a service here

 

**If you do not want to allow clients to book regular services, you can choose not to show them online. Navigate to Manage>Basic Settings>Services and click on a service to change Show Online to No.

 

2. Have your client log into your salon’s online booking site. They’ll want to schedule a new appointment and select the Product Pickup service. Clients will click on Search Calendar and choose the time slot they would like to pick up.

 

3. Once the appointment has been scheduled, they will be brought to a screen where they can Choose Any Product and Reserve…. Now, the Product Pickup appointment will appear on your schedule with the product(s) reserved. Make sure you have enabled product reservations. See if you have this feature enabled here .     
 

**Adding a login message is not a required step but may help your client if you create a message for them explaining how to reserve a product for curbside pickup. Learn more about this custom message here.  

 

4. If you have the Curbside Check-in feature enabled in your Rosy account, then your clients will receive a check-in text 15-30 minutes prior to pickup time. Your clients will want to respond to the text with a Y to officially check-in. This will update the appointment status on the schedule. Enable Curbside Check-In here .  

 

**Make sure your Check-In text message says what you want it to say. Go to Manage>Advanced Settings and click Manage under Email & Text Communications. Click Include a Custom Message under Send Appointment Check-in to write the message you want clients to receive for their check-in text.

 

5. If you are set up to receive Employee Text Messages, you will receive a text message alerting you that your client has arrived for their curbside product pickup! Enable Employee Text Message here

 

**When you’re ready for the client, you can send another (custom) text message letting them know their product(s) will be out soon.
