General Enhancements

 
Custom Payment Types

Finally here by popular demand! We’ve created the ability for you, the salon, to add and accept other payment types. We’ve placed the power entirely in your hands to create Custom Payment Types. The best part? What you name them is completely up to you. 


Set up Custom Payment Types here: Manage > Advanced Settings > Custom Payments > Click on Manage and start creating. Remember, once created, these custom payment types will appear on your Collect Payment screen.

New Collect Payment UI
With the update to Custom Payment Types, the Collect Payment screen would become a bit crowded. Therefore, we’ve decided to make the Collect Payment feature its own page. Don’t worry, though! All the same functionality will remain, plus we’ve added some user experience and general flow improvements as well.

Updates to reports
  1. There is a new section in reports called Most Popular. As you might have guessed, this section will populate the reports your salon uses most frequently. 
  2. Now you’ll have the ability to see which reports are being run and by whom. Find this by going to the Reports tab and clicking on the History button. Choose your filters and view results. 

Waitlist enhancements
When selecting a client from the waitlist for an appointment, the service and service provider will be preselected. You will always have the ability to deselect the pre-populated choices if the client decides they would like a different service or service provider.

Miscellaneous UI updates
  1. Minor update to the UI for multiple cash drawers
  2. Update to modal/window for adding a bundle to a ticket
  3. There is now a setting that prevents a client from canceling bundles through online scheduling
  4. We have enhanced the help icons and links across the application

We’ve added a new setting to memberships that allow you to determine whether or not clients can cancel through online scheduling.

With Halloween behind us, we had to go through our application and make sure we didn’t have any ghosts or goblins left in the system….we found a few of them, gave them some candy, and sent them home!
