Important - Action Required before July 31, 2024
The FREE texting option is going away. Starting July 31, 2024, Rosy Text Notifications to clients and employees will stop working. If you currently do not have the Enhanced Texting option and wish to have texting capabilities within your software, follow the steps below to add the feature.
How to add Enhanced Texting:
Navigate to Manage > Advanced Settings > select Turbo Charge your Software Subscription. At the bottom of the page, enable Enhanced Text and check mark that you understand it is an additional cost feature.
The price of this feature will depend on the number of service providers on your schedule for that month. If you would also like the ability to send out text confirmations that the client can use to confirm their appointment via text and itineraries via text, you will need to have the full Client Connect Bundle. To activate this, you will also check the boxes for Mass Email and Auto Email Marketing.
Why is this happening?
For a while, Rosy has provided a free way to send appointment notifications to your clients and employees by sending a text to their phone through an email-to-text format message. Cell phone providers often limit the ability to send this format of notifications to safeguard their networks, revenue, user experience, and to minimize security risks. These limits and the decreased effectiveness of email-to-text messages over time have led to a requirement to send only SMS text reminders. As a result, salons need to add Rosy’s Enhanced Texting feature in order to send text notifications.
